About the institute
The Institute of Geophysics is part of the Department of Earth Sciences at ETH Zurich and our goal is to deliver leading research and teaching over a wide range of geophysical disciplines.
Activities range from theoretical modeling towards experimental and observational geophysics, from studying small-scale processes in the shallow subsurface towards large-scale processes forming the Earth and other planets.
The Institute of Geophysics is divided into the following research groups:
